I chose this movie trailer because I like the movie, it is interesting and very adventures. In the shot where the two boys turn around to look at the aliens the director made the shots in that part very slow and dramatic to make the viewer wonder what is happening. The lengths of the shots are not very short. The director stretched out the shots to make the scenes more dramatic and adventures.
This movie is a romance/dance movie. I chose this trailer because this movie trailer has many different shots. In the trailer when ever the a main character speaks the music stops to make the viewer listen to what they have to say. The trailer has a variety of shots. Slow and fast. The director made the shots slower at certain times.

This trailer is on the movie "Bring it on-Fight to Finnish". I chose this trailer because I love the movie and this trailer is a good example of different shots and music as a background. When a girl jumps up in the air and does this trick the director made it very dramatic, slow and quite to make the viewer look closer into what is happening. Most of the shots in this trailer is fast because it forces the viewer to pay more attention.

Questions about movie trailer shots!
1.
1. Establishing Shot.- Night of the Museum 2.
a). The impression of this shots, shows the viewer where the setting takes place as well as the area around where the action will happen.
b) This is a great example of an establishing shot.
c) This is a daytime shot, doesn't add to any mood.
d) The only sound here is music, no spoken text. The music is very light-hearted and upbeat.
e) Yes, it would make a big difference if the camera angle was not the same because it is designed to show the setting of the movie.
f) I think that using a transition shot would not matter because there already is one just before this shot, and it did not take away or detract / have a bad effect.
g) There are no speakers /characters/dialogue in this scene.

1. Close up- Night at the Musuem 2.
a) This pictures shows at least two characters in the movie as well as what they are doing.
b) I think the camera was positioned to get the best view of the expresions on the characters faces. If it was someplace else you might not be able to see their expresions. That's why it is a close up.
c) This shot tells what will happen in the next shot. This isn't a transition shot. It would take away any feeling the trailer has if it was a transition shot.
d) I think it wouldn't change your ideas about the movie but it might not look as good as another transition shot was put in.
e) It is night time and because this is an adventure movie there is no particular mood the lighting gives the viewer.
f) It shows me the exprsion on the character's face and expresions can help know a characters personality and I think it shows the viewer what kind of person this is.
g) The sound in this shot is very fast and adventures. It tells me a lot about the movie.
h) I can tell that the character is not American and looks surprised. Their voices can tell me that. Eventhough they are not speaking in this shot in farther in the trailer they are.

a) This camera angle shows me what is going on in the scene. It looks like the one character is holding something and the egyptian leader is angry at the other character.
b) I think the camera angle is just right because it shows the way the characters are positioned and the shot isn't too far away becuase the viewer can still see the expresion on the character's faces. I think yes it would make a difference if the camera angle wasn't the same because maybe you can't see their expresions and positions the characters are in. This is a very clear view of what's going on.
c) It tells the viewer what is going on and who the characters are.
d) I don't think it would make such a big difference if the transition was differnt because of the setting and the plot of the movie.
e) The shot takes place in a museum in the strorage place so it is pretty dark. I know this because I have watched the movie. I think the lighting doesn't really affect the shot because the shot takes place indoors. It might affect the mood of the shots if it was taken outdoors.
f) The setting shows who the character is. The position the characters are in tells a lot about who they are and what they are doing.
g) In this shot the two characters are talking to eachother. It shows me the conection between the two. The dialoug used plays an important role in the scene. There is no music, only dialog.
h) There are no sound or voices in this shot but in the scene the characters are discussing something. By the voices of the characters I can tell their emotions.
Different Angles
No not all the shots are the same length. Some are longer than others and some lasts forever! The effect of this is big. It makes the person watching the trailer wonder what is going on and to watch the movie. It makes them wonder what will happen next like "will that be very important in the movie? What's going?" Well thats what I would think.
